Welcome aboard Straw Hat Fits. By signing up or using the site, you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and plain. If anything's unclear, write us — there's a contact link at the bottom of every page.
1. Your account
- You must be 18 or older to use Straw Hat Fits.
- One account per person. Don't impersonate other people, brands, or fictional characters in a deceptive way.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for activity on your account. If something looks off, change your password and email us.
- Membership requires either a paid subscription or a comp code from us. Membership is non-transferable.
2. Trades, listings, and sales
- Listings must accurately describe the card you're trading or selling — condition, set, and any defects. Watermarked images you upload may not be reused outside Straw Hat Fits.
- Trades and sales are between members. Straw Hat Fits is the platform, not a party to your transaction. We don't warrant card authenticity, condition, or delivery — that's between you and the trader.
- If you accept a buy or trade offer, you're committing to fulfill it. Repeated no-shows or backing out can result in account suspension.
- Money handled through PayPal is subject to PayPal's terms. Disputes over payments should go through PayPal first; our moderators help only with platform-related issues.
3. How we expect people to behave
Don't:
- Harass, threaten, dox, or bully other members.
- Post explicit, illegal, or hateful content. The platform is for trading — keep it about that.
- Spam, scam, or run pyramid/ponzi schemes through the messaging or trading systems.
- Misuse coupons, accounts, or the platform's systems (mass scripting, scraping, exploit hunting without permission).
- Attempt to bypass blocks, evade moderator actions, or open second accounts to circumvent suspensions.
If someone treats you badly, you have two tools: Block them (they can't message or offer to you) and Forward to Mod from inside any message thread.
4. Moderation and disputes
- Moderators can review reported message threads — not private messages that haven't been forwarded. The "Forward to Mod" button is the explicit consent gate. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
- We can warn, suspend, or remove accounts for violations of these terms or for behavior that puts other members at risk. Suspension decisions can be appealed by emailing us.
- For trade or payment disputes between members: try to resolve it directly first, then forward the thread to a moderator if needed.
5. The legal small print
- The platform is provided "as-is." We do our best to keep things running, but we don't guarantee uptime, freedom from bugs, or that any given trade or sale will go through.
- To the extent allowed by law, Straw Hat Fits and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or transactions with other members.
- You can delete your account anytime by emailing us. We may retain transactional records for our legal/audit obligations.
- We may update these terms. Material changes will trigger a re-acceptance prompt the next time you sign in. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms.
